The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery. The mechanical fitter will work closely with the engineering team to ensure all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specificationsInstall and align machinery and equipmentPerform routine maintenance on mechanical systemsTroubleshoot and repair faulty equipmentMaintain accurate records of work performedFollow health and safety regulations at all timesCollaborate with engineers and other team members on projectsRequirements:High school, diploma, or equivalentCompletion of a mechanical fitter apprenticeship program is preferred / Trade Certificate Proven experience as a mechanical fitter in an engineering or industrial environmentFamiliarity with hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsGood communication and teamwork skills
