Minimum Skills & Knowledge:Qualified FitterMinimum 5 years post qualification experienceExperience in a maintenance environmentExperience in steel fabrication and sketch up own designArc welding experienceOwn transport requiredAbility to work as part of a team as well as individuallyAttentive to detailResults driven and has initiativeReliableGood problem-solving skillsAccountableHydraulic experienced (Read and interpret drawings)Injection moulding experience Responsibilities:Carry out maintenance functions to ensure that the machines & factory remain well looked afterWhere necessary live documents are to be kept at certain machinesMaintenance checks on chillers, cooling towers & compressorRepairs, maintenance alterations when required or requestedGeneral upkeep of the grounds & structureCarry out all items timeouslyCarry out all other reasonable instructions to the best of your ability, bearing in mind that these secondary to the mandatory scheduled maintenance items.Welding and fabrication of new equipment and machineryDocumented weekly checklists to be filled inFollow the health and safety procedures as stipulated by the company - ensure you and all you see are acting in a manner of compliance.Comply with PPE requirementsAdhere to uniform requirements as stipulated by the companyReport any detected health and safety concerns immediatelyFactory is permanently clean and tidyClear evidence of good house-keeping practices are to be visible upon entering the maintenance dept. With all like type items to be stored in a traceable & organised manner.Factory running efficiently and effectively as a result of a highly maintained factoryContinuously try to seek out methods to help preventative maintenance be a solution to root causes of breakdownsComply with all company policies and proceduresMaintain a good relationship with colleagues and management and an attitude of continuous improvementWork in collaboration with other members of staff to allow for smooth planning of both your department requirements to fulfil its maintenance duties, which simultaneously allows for the production plan to continue as undisturbed as possible.Carry out standbyWork shiftsCarry out duties any adhoc duties as and when required
