Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Application Development Manager to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software development process and applications.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and agile environment.
  • Champion innovative best practices and methodologies to optimize the application development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Implement and oversee a modern CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and QA specialists, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications across various platforms.
  • Manage team structure, define development standards, and participate in code reviews.
  • Oversee outsourced development and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement a product roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Build a culture of innovation and engagement, attracting top talent and strengthening our employer brand.
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
  • 10+ years of software development experience with a strong understanding of a strongly-typed programming language (Go preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a senior technical leader with a successful track record of delivering complex business solutions.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC best practices (CI/CD).
  • Experience developing and supporting mission-critical cloud-based or virtualized applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills to inspire and motivate your team.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve in application development trends.
Bonus Points for:
  • Experience with Go, Vue.js, and PHP 8.
  • A demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
