Requirements and Experience
  • 2-4 years work related experience
  • Grade 12 or N3 Technical qualification
  • 2 Years experience using CAD software is a pre-requisite, especially Mastercam, Solidworks and Rhino
  • Computer Literacy, especially in Word and Excel
  • Good health and physically fit to assist in loading and unloading of materials from the CNC table
  • Willingness to learn new software and skills
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics
  • Attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the CNC machine and Robot
  • Cutting would be mostly sacrificial moulds, templates, and jigs for various departments
  • General admin duties would be maintaining your filing system, keeping a record of materials and consumables, and managing job cards
  • CNC work would include preparing models for CNC, generating toolpaths, cutting parts, verifying, and checking dimensions of cut parts
  • Assembly, bonding, and vacuum bagging would be required for larger parts
  • You may be required to work overtime or on weekends
  • Assist the R&D department with other tasks on an ad hoc basis
