Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate quarterly valuation results, ensuring accuracy across IFRS, SAM, and Embedded Value (EV) frameworks.
  • Review and analyze liability and embedded value calculations, verifying assumptions and ensuring results align with expectations.
  • Conduct profit analyses to guide management in optimizing the business portfolio.
  • Resolve valuation issues in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Perform periodic experience investigations and sensitivity tests to refine reporting.
  • Act as a product owner for designated offerings, ensuring outcomes align with statutory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements within the valuation team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Group practices, policies, and reporting timelines.

Skills & Competencies Required:
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong technical actuarial expertise and financial reporting acumen.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and SQL/database programming.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement abilities.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
  • Nearly or newly qualified actuary, with substantial progress in normative skills towards Fellowship status.

Experience:
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial valuations, reporting, or a related domain.
