Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel vehicles, including gearboxes, transmissions, and related componentsConduct fault-finding and propose cost-effective repair solutionsRebuild and refurbish diesel engines and transmissions to manufacturer standardsPerform preventative maintenance and routine inspectionsEnsure that all repairs and services are carried out efficiently and within allocated time framesMaintain accurate service records and documentationFollow all health and safety regulations in line with company policiesAssist with quality control and testing of repaired componentsProvide technical support to other team members when requiredRequirements:Qualified Diesel Technician (Red Seal / Trade Test Certificate essential)Minimum of 3â5 yearsâ experience working on diesel engines and transmissions in the motor industryExperience within the motor or heavy-duty gearbox industry essentialStrong mechanical aptitude with diagnostic and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of modern diagnostic tools and softwareValid driverâs license (Code 8 or higher)Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsMotor Industry experience Essential  Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
