Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Repairs
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all repairs and installations meet FSSC, safety, and regulatory standards.
Installation & Upgrades
  • Install and commission new electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  • Upgrade existing electrical infrastructure for improved efficiency and compliance.
Fault Finding & Troubleshooting
  • Conduct systematic fault-finding to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and schematics to analyse and correct system failures.
Compliance & Safety
  • Adhere to electrical safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper use of PPE and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work done, inspections, and compliance reports.
Energy Efficiency & Optimization
  • identify and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Optimize electrical systems to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Technical Support & Collaboration
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Provide guidance and support on electrical-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed logs of electrical work, breakdowns, and maintenance schedules.
  • Report findings and recommendations to supervisors or management.
Functional Competence-skills and knowledge required for job:
  • Basic Electrical Installation & Wiring.
  • Electrical Fault-Finding & Troubleshooting.

Education:
  • Grade 12
  • N3 Electrical Engineering Certificate
Experience:
