Job Description:

  • Lead hydrogeological conceptualization projects (Conceptual model development, ground water flow, head counting, source pathway-receptor understanding , surface water - ground water interaction)
  • Conduct hydrogeological technical assessments using 2D and 3D numerical flow and contaminant transport modelling skills
  • Manage ongoing work from existing clients, develop relationships with new clients
  • Coordinate staff and subcontractors, liaise with regulators, client contacts and control budgets and invoicing
  • Provide solutions from initial conversation to proposal to development and successful completion
  • Plan, write and review technical reports
  • Prepare environmental management plans, monitoring plans and consent applications
  • Work with senior scientist and engineers across the business on all the above
  • Conduct and oversee fieldworks


Job Requirements:

  • A Geo-science or Engineering bachelors degree, and ideally a post graduate or Masters degree from a well-recognised university in geoscience-related field, preferably with a specialisation/ focus in hydrogeology
  • 7 years of experience
  • Competency in groundwater resource assessment and management and in GIS, databasing, GoldSim, Leapfrog and other industry related software
  • Competency in 2D and 3D numerical flow and contaminant transport modelling such as SEEPW, MODFLOEW, FEEFLOW
