Analyst l, Organic Prep49_744000091401315Obowiązki Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Analyst l, Organic Prep for the Barberton, OH site. The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques according to scientific and environmental protection methodology in compliance with Eurofins programs and standard operating procedures.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriatePerforms routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs. These include:Preparation of samples using standard techniquesPerforming chemical analysis using standard techniquesCalculating dataRecording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisorPerforming routine instrument maintenanceResponsible for general housekeeping in his/her work areaAbility to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.Works under close supervision using routine and standard methodsAliquots and weighs samplesWashes glasswareConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedWymagania Education/Experience:BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferredAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Experience:Laboratory experience helpfulPrevious production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs. These include:Preparation of samples using standard techniquesPerforming chemical analysis using standard techniquesCalculating dataRecording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisorReading, writing and speaking skillsProblem solving skillsTeam participation and meeting management skillsTime management and organization skillsOferujemy Full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed.
