What you'll be doing

SOFTWARE LIFECYCLE SPECIALIST

We are seeking a Software Lifecycle Specialist (SLS) capable of building and nurturing client relationships to enhance the value of our clients' software portfolio and extend the lifetime value for NTT. Serving as the primary post-sale contact for software with clients, the SLS fosters client-facing activities through NTT's Software Lifecycle Specialist Charters of Adoption, Expansion, and Renewal of software. In the role of the clients' trusted advisor for software, the SLS aids clients in realizing the value of their association with NTT and ensures a positive client experience. The SLS collaborates with NTT's sales, Client Success Management, Client/Service Delivery Management, and key OEM Software Partner teams to drive growth within contracts by boosting software consumption and ensuring timely renewals.

SOFTWARE LIFECYCLE SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Client Managers and Service Delivery Managers for consistent and effective client engagements, utilizing resources as needed.
  • Responsible for overseeing the deployment and adoption of client software investments.
  • Develop Software Success plans to expedite software usage and feature adoption.
  • Ensure alignment with the Line of Business and IT Team to meet business and/or operational objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to showcase the adoption of new software features and communicate with the Client Manager.
  • Update adoption plans and conduct regular business review meetings to demonstrate value to the client.
  • Implement regular training programs with the client on utilizing specific software features.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding software offerings, as well as ensuring the uptake of NTT Service offers.
  • Accountable for reporting success metrics back to NTT and its vendors.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Client Managers and Professional Services and Consulting.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of vendor Activation rebates and Lifecycle Advisor Credits by NTT.
  • Collaborate with the Client Success Managers to ensure successful software renewals.
  • Document case studies proactively and contribute to the design of the software-defined infrastructure offering, its usage and adoption, engagement with the vendor and services delivery team, KPI, adoption of delivery obligations, and renewals.

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Thorough knowledge and comprehension of software lifecycle selling and software enterprise agreements.
  • Proficiency in vendor software subscription services.
  • Strong understanding of the IT service environment, service operations, and ITIL practices.
  • Capability to analyze intricate data/reports, extract business insights, and formulate appropriate operational responses.
  • Ability to interpret a client's business strategy/plans and identify opportunities for NTT solutions/services.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary level qualification like a business management or equivalent degree.
  • Certification and practical knowledge of ITIL practices.
  • Additional relevant vendor certifications across various areas would be advantageous e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Mimecast, Checkpoint etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Professional Services, Managed Services, Support Services, and/or Outsourcing environment.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role in one or more Sales, Service, or Consultancy disciplines within a large-scale (preferably multi-national) IT services environment.
  • Extensive experience in sales and client interactions at manager level within a commercial service offering environment.
