About the role:

The Credit Collections Specialist plays a crucial role within the A2C team, focusing intensely on managing Cash Collection processes and striving for continuous enhancement. The primary objective is to instill a sense of urgency regarding cash flow with key accounts, as well as identifying areas for improvement by collaborating closely with the billing team, sales, operations, and commercial departments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create in-depth customer account collection analysis and Aging Reports
  • Contact customers via phone and email to discuss open invoices and billing disputes
  • Identify issues causing payment delays
  • Execute strategic actions to reduce overdue amounts and follow standard collection procedures
  • Independently handle a portfolio of accounts, working towards minimizing delinquency rates
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Update on collections status daily and escalate issues as needed
  • Monitor and report monthly KPIs
  • Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly to management
  • Conduct special projects for the Collections Department as assigned

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, banking, business, or related field
  • 1-3 years' experience in credit or accounts receivable roles
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and Tax portals
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with Cash Collection and Billing processes
  • Experience in multinational environments with matrix management structures
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive financial information
