What the Role Entails

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of intricate business problems and issues using data from both internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to detect and interpret trends and patterns in relevant datasets to identify influences.
  • Develop forecasts, offer recommendations, and craft strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market insight.
  • Establish specifications for reports and analysis according to business requirements and available data elements.
  • Advise on the articulation, development, enhancement, and tracking of metrics and dashboard requisites to yield results and provide insights along with recommendations on trends.
  • Collaborate across various teams, employing advanced data analysis and tools to ensure the validity, significance, and provision of actionable and comprehensive insights from analytics.
  • Direct teams to aid in addressing strategic inquiries, making informed data-centric business choices, and effectively devising new ventures.
  • Provide technical insights, recommendations, and knowledge to team members.
  • Offer guidance and counsel to address and resolve business challenges.
  • Create pertinent reports, present trends.
  • Oversee data analysis across diverse platforms including social media, presenting trends and patterns.
  • Ensure requisite support is provided to the client for implementing recommendations and solutions.
  • Design, create, and sustain business intelligence reports and analytics.
  • Analyze and interpret data, statistics, and info from varied sources, presenting relevant reports, summaries, and briefing notes to guide business decisions.
  • Identify pertinent data sources for information retrieval.
  • Comprehend and agree on the business's required reporting specification format.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to translate needs into data reports, insights, and extractions.
  • Enhance visual data for simplified interpretation and actionable metrics.
  • Identify and uphold processes to ensure data accuracy, current relevance, and representation.
  • Recognize process enhancements to streamline data collection and report generation.
  • Review and refine requirements, specifications, business processes, and proposed solution recommendations.


Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

  • Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirements Gathering, Data Analysis, Data Insights, Data Interpretations, Data Modeling Techniques, Data Reporting, Data Wrangling, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • Capability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to collaborate across different teams, forming robust working relationships.
  • Effective listening, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of current data protection and privacy regulations.

Educational Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • Possess relevant certifications.


Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated advanced experience in an analytical role.
  • Proven advanced experience using data collection tools and software.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience working with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in producing Excel-based reports.
