Maintenance Planner

RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Planner to join a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of maintenance activities in the mining industry.

• Coordinate and implement maintenance plans and schedules
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work orders and equipment history
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Trade Test Certificate in a relevant field
• Maintenance planning and scheduling certificate
• Minimum of 5 years' experience on planned maintenance systems in supervisory capacity in an opencast mining environment
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning techniques and methodologies
• Excellent understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry
• Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and scheduling tools
