About Our Client: Our client is a leading Cell Captive Insurance organization.

Job Description:

  • End-to-end data acquisition and data management, including Event/Streaming based data pipelines, ETL, Data Lake, Data warehousing, and dimensional data modeling.
  • Importing data into the corporate data lake/data warehouse.
  • Reporting on data acquisition progress, regulatory compliance, and financial accounting.
  • Participating in quality assurance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ability to define a structured approach to problem-solving and deliver against it.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information and think broadly for analysis and problem-solving.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage tight deadlines.

The Successful Applicant:

  • IT Bachelor's Degree or Diploma.
  • Data Vault certification.
  • Microsoft certification or Cloud certification.
  • 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing (Data Vault, Star Schema, Kimball Methodology, SSIS).
  • 5 years of experience in Cube Development (SSAS, MDX).
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL Server 2012 or later, including database, table, view, stored procedure creation, SQL query, and SQL Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop components like HDFS, Hive, Spark, Oozie, and Impala.
  • Experience in Event/Streaming based data pipelines (e.g., Kafka or Nifi).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented/object functional scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or related languages.
  • Preferable experience in SQL Architecture.
  • Understanding of financial accounting principles is advantageous.
  • Technical knowledge in C#, VB.Net, VBA would be advantageous.
  • Ability to engage with clients effectively.
  • Must have the capability to build a data warehouse.
