The Role Involves: ?
  • Help project managers to plan work.
  • Manage deliveries of construction materials.
  • Organise staff work schedules.
  • Check work is carried out safely.
  • Complete records for site reports.
  • Attend site management meetings.
  • Evaluate performance and provide feedback.
  • Resolve employee issues and disputes.
  • Analyse and interpret engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.
  • Ensuring projects are implemented in the highest safety standards (ISO14001), environmental (ISO18001), quality (ISO9001), and electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, BS, SANS, etc.
  • Managing of project resources onsite. This includes but is not limited to contractors and general workers, tools, machinery, equipment, budget, etc.
  • Manage the project schedule to ensure projects are completed within the agreed timelines.
  • Report project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders on time. That is the submission of weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager.
