OHS Sales Consultant

Job Summary: As an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling OHS products and services to businesses across various industries. Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, understand their occupational health and safety needs, and offer tailored solutions to address those needs. You will utilize your expertise in OHS regulations, standards, and best practices to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to clients, ultimately driving sales and revenue growth.

Looking for employees in Midrand, DBN, CPT, George and PE.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients in target industries. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other outreach efforts.
  2. Consultative Selling: Engage with clients to understand their OHS requirements and challenges. Offer expert advice and recommend suitable products and services to meet their needs.
  3. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company''s OHS products and services. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  4. Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients, outlining the benefits and value of our solutions. Customize proposals to align with the specific needs and requirements of each client.
  5. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.
  7. Sales Tracking and Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, including prospecting efforts, client interactions, and sales outcomes. Generate regular reports to track progress towards sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the OHS industry.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and technical information to clients.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Have OHS / HSE qualifications.
  • Must have own reliable transport.
