Responsibilities:
  • Full management accounting of mining sections and capital functions.
  • Control of the budget vs. actual expenditure.
  • Update and distribute daily cost report with stores and overtime cost movements.
  • Attend Section Manager and Mine managers meetings on the mine.
  • Present capital results and cashflow to the Engineering Manager and Section Engineers.
  • Present asset register and depreciation calculations to the Head of Finance.
  • Compile weekly forecast and cost and capital analysis for weekly production meeting.
  • Compile monthly review presentations for mining and capital, refreshable reports & graphs analysis.
  • Drive outstanding orders to be minimal.
  • Manage production cost according to mining standards.
  • Maintain and update mining standards on a regular basis.

Qualification:
  • Financial Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting
  • Mining Industry
  • 5 years' experience
  • CA(SA) with 5-8 years' experience
