Accountant (SAIPA/SAICA)

- Daily cash book processing, reconciling and allocation.
- Raising of Sales Ledger Invoices.
- Debtors management receipt allocation, reconciliation, follow up.
- Suppliers management reconciliation, query resolution, recordkeeping, payment preparation
- Accounting to balance sheet
- Full payroll administration and processing
- Department of Labor return of earnings submission.
- Other statutory functions
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum B Com degree with Accounting as major and registration with SAIPA/SAICA (must have completed articles)
- Proven work experience of at least 5+ years as an Accountant in a similar role
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. Knowledge of Xero is advantageous
- Sound experience with Payroll software essential knowledge of Simple Pay or Sage VIP highly recommended
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and statutory regulations
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Own reliable transport with valid drivers license
- Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
