Functions:

  • Responsible for the underwriting of new and renewal business on Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) and Goods in Transit (GIT) risks
  • Ensure that risks are written within the companyâs risk appetite and maintain an acceptable loss ratio
  • Deal with day to day queries and amendments to existing policies
  • Maintaining and building good customer relationships with brokers

Requirements:

  • RE 5, NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines and must be registered with FAISÂ
  • Minimum of 5 years heavy vehicle commercial underwriting experience
