Our client is seeking a Debtors Controller to join their Mthatha-based team.

Successful candidate to reside in Mthatha and be able to start as soon as possible.

Minimum Requirements:-

  • Experienced with managing debtors and collections (preferably in the Construction industry)
  • Experienced using MS Excel
  • Experienced in managing people
  • Conscientious regarding processing and systems
  • Xhosa speaking

Duties:-

  • Maintain debtors files
  • Credit limit assessment and recommendation
  • Credit limit adherence by customers
  • Follow-up on debts owed to company
  • Reconciliation and assessment of customer refunds
  • Produce monthly and interim statements for customers
  • Generate and support any and all debtors adjusting journals required
  • Ensure that debtors receipts are accurately allocated
  • Assist Finance Manager, as required
