Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have an M.Sc. Agric/B.Sc Agric in Animal Science of similar
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Technical Sales position in animal feed of similar role will be required
  • Knowledge in Ruminants would be a distinct advantage
  • Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office
  • Must have valid drivers license with own reliable transport License

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing technical support to ruminant clients.
  • Achieving the sales budget and completing scheduled projects.
  • Working closely with the Technical Department to compile and implement technical support plans.
  • Promoting value added services to clients.
  • Monitoring farm feed quality and advising on product applications.
  • Compiling sales documents and reports.
  • Attending and presenting at farmers days and study groups.
  • Implementing marketing and business growth initiatives.
