Project Engineer

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Certification in project management would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex manufacturing projects, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical background with a basic understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and tooling.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Competency in 3D CAD design (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
  • An ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A strong ability to think logically and rationally.
  • Be highly proficient in MS Office specifically MS Excel
  • Be enthusiastic, positive and self-energized.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies for product design and tool manufacture projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure alignment and efficient project execution.
  • Drive the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Proactively monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks that arise.
Communication and Reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the plan.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, discuss challenges, and make data-driven decisions.
