You will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and controlling the manufacturing plants electrical systems.

Skills & Duties:

  • Maintaining production equipment
  • Programming and fault finding on PLCs
  • Setting up a library of plant drawings, equipment manuals and software programs
  • Setting up and controlling an electrical spares store
  • Responsible for the electrical condition of a 24-hour production facility
  • Must be prepared to be on after hours callouts

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certified Technician Minimum National Technicians Certificate (T3)
  • Formal electrical training by way of either an apprenticeship or minimum 5 years practical experience
  • Wiremans licence advantageous
  • Experience in programming & troubleshooting industrial PLCs & controllers.
  • Experience in LT maintenance, covering switchgear and production equipment
  • Excellent in fault finding & problem solving techniques
  • Own transport and valid drivers licence essential
  • Must reside in the area
