Roles and Responsibilities :
  • Manage the accounts receivable processes for a key account of the business, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
  • Generate and distribute invoices to the key customer accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and aging accounts to ensure prompt payment.
  • Champion this key corporate account while working directly with the customers equivalent to ensure the account is maintained in good order, accurate, complete.
  • Work closely with the debtors manager to ensure the existing process flow is improved upon, simplified, streamlined and aligned with customer requirements and deadlines
  • Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers as needed, while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Update customer account information and payment records accurately in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and analyse aging reports to track the status of outstanding balances and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on accounts receivable status to management.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements related to debt collection practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to the account receivable process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
