Responsibilities:

  • Input information into prepared templates for Management accounts
  • Update and audit budget schedules monthly
  • Reconcile balances to accounting systems
  • Ensure subledger/external data balance to TB and management reports
  • Prepare yearly audit for all entities
  • Assist auditors with audit, ensure all queries are handled efficiently
  • Pre monthly review and journal entries
  • Reconcile all CDS sales slips on automated system
  • Reconcile restaurant bulk invoices from pilot
  • Balance restaurant payments received, resolve any differences
  • Receive and reconcile monthly member payments
  • Manage bulk invoices
  • Review and post credit notes
  • Run month end procedures
  • Follow up on outstanding debtors
  • Prepare weekly debtors reports

Requirements:

  • Must have a financial or management accounting qualification
  • Must have 3 years' experience in a Accountant role, previous experience in financial accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English and Afrikaans)
