To manage the productivity and profitability of the Catering outlet, with a focus on providing a professional & quality service at market related prices and or standards.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS- Conceptualize, plan and manage all aspects of kitchen production and delivery of quality functions /conferences/events at all catering outlets
- Play a coordinating role to internal and external departments, which includes advice, support services as well as consult and manage all banqueting requirements
- Manage Human resources of designated staff
- Documentation Control and Management (Compliance)
- Manage and monitor financial resources /financial management/budgets
- Compliance to food, health, and safety requirements
- Customer Service Excellence
- Report Writing

- In depth knowledge of menus and costings

- Good working knowledge of Food Health & Safety
Required Minimum Education:
M+3.
Preferred Additional Education:
A National Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management is preferable
Computer literacy skills in MS office -including word, excel and PowerPoint and the use of Internet
Culinary skills
Code 08 Drivers license is required
Required Minimum Experience:
5 years experience in Banqueting and or Food Services Management is required. 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas: Hospitality Management, customer service role
Personal Qualities:
Dedication: incumbent will be required to work after hours as per function requirements and need to be dedicated to your work to fulfil duties after hours
Time management: working on various functions at once requires incumbent to prioritize and to make use of time management in order to complete the work for all the functions
