Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of group financial statements and management reports.
  • Support the consolidation of financial results for the groups various entities.
  • Help in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the mining industry.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Support senior accountants and finance managers with ad hoc financial projects and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the mining or related industry.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
