Purpose of the position:

To provide a service to production by conducting short interval control checks on products and production areas as well as testing of production batches for basic physical and organoleptic properties

Preferred Requirements:

  • Matric, Preferably Maths, Science and Biology
  • Full competence in this role will typically be developed over a period on 2 years with relevant workplace training

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, GMP, Basic Food Technology Practices World class manufacturing and quality practices and Models
  • Specific product and process knowledge
  • Mathematics
  • Audit Compliance
  • Aseptic sampling methods

Skills

  • Ability to maintain Quality Management and Quality Control systems in line with best practice
