Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 and HR related qualification
- Approximately 4 years’ experience in training and development
- Sound knowledge of South African legislation BCEA, EEA, LRA and MIBCO Main Agreement
- Advanced knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Good human relations skills for excellent internal customer service
- Excellent administration skills administration including general HR administration
- Initiative, good problem solving skills, excellent time management skills and above average communication skills
- Thorough understanding of SETA requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational and individual training needs are identified.
- Compliance with legislation such as the BCEA, EEA, LRA, MIBCO Main Agreement as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Compile monthly training schedule.
- Update training plan and other relevant training reports.
- Ensure accurate training records are maintained.
- Administer tertiary study loans.
- Administer training agreements.
- Manage employee development committee process.
- Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plan to MERSETA.
- Compile and submit annual training report to MERSETA.
- Ensure maximum return on grant payments.
- Plan and coordinate learnerships and skills programs.
- Coordinate on the job training and classroom training to satisfy curricula.
- Develop curricula and learning material for all positions.
- Coordinate the development of training matrix for all departments.
- Coordinate training initiatives to deliver on training needs.
- Draft EE Plans/Reports.
- Providing ad hoc Generalist HR support.
