Our client is looking for a qualified IT Technician that will join a multi-cultural company that is in the retail sector who will be responsible for technical support to maintain the organizations computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements

  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • A+ and N+ Certification, required

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist with the assessment, development, implementation, and support of hardware and network technology for new and existing locations and other remote locations, including setting up of computer. Systems, projectors, network, and internet access
  • Assist with the trouble shooting and implementation of Software and hardware
  • Diagnose and provide support on end user issues, including repairing, servicing, examining, installing, training, and troubleshooting computer hardware, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide support to help end users access network resources from work and home.
  • Work with staff to coordinate routine hardware maintenance, upgrades of software.
  • Installation and setup of server operating systems
  • Understanding of installing and setting up of Virtual machines (VM-Hyper V)
  • Installing and setting up of VPN clients
  • Understanding of firewalls, Mikrotik routers and managed switches
  • Installation of Office 365, pastel and Endpoint antivirus
  • Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors support teams
