Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute video production projects, ensuring highquality and engaging content aligned with our organisations objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand video requirements and translate them into effective visual narratives.
  • Plan and organize video shoots, including location scouting, script development, and coordination of talent, equipment, and crew.
  • Capture highquality video footage using professional cameras, audio equipment, and lighting setups.
  • Conduct video interviews and gather testimonials from beneficiaries, staff, and partners to create powerful stories.
  • Edit and postproduce videos, selecting and arranging footage, adding graphics, music, voiceover, and sound effects for impactful storytelling.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to the organisations visual identity guidelines in all video content.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to video production and editing.
  • Manage and maintain video equipment and software for optimal functionality and availability.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop video strategies and campaigns that engage and inspire the target audience.
  • Assist with other multimedia tasks, such as creating animations, motion graphics, and visual presentations, as needed.
  • Editing of TV and radio programs

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in film/video/mediarelated Field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Video Producer and Editor
  • Proficiency in video production tools and software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of videography techniques, lighting, audio recording, and postproduction processes and editing techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of radio and TV operations and programming
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for Radio and TV
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and stories into concise and visually appealing videos.
  • Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills, understanding narrative structure and emotional impact.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous video production and editing work with a range of styles and formats.
