We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Wine Centre Manager at a well-known Wine Estate located along the iconic Stellenbosch Wine Route. This award-winning Winery is highly regarded for its exceptional wines and unique guest experiences.

The perfect candidate should possess outstanding wine knowledge and hold a WSET Level 2 qualification or equivalent.

They must have a solid background in F&B and operations, with bonus points for experience in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to providing top-notch service, exhibit strong leadership skills, and excel at team development.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar supervisory role.

Requirements and Experience:

  • WSET Level 2 or Equivalent Certification
  • Hands-on experience in F&B operations
  • Exceptional operational abilities
  • Training and managing staff performance
  • Confident with excellent communication skills
  • Service-oriented mindset with focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for the hospitality sector
Having your own vehicle and a valid driver's license will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the wine centre on a daily basis
  • Be actively present during service to enhance guest engagement and service quality
  • Provide ongoing staff training and manage staff performance
  • Handle inventory and liaise with suppliers
  • Oversee compliance with safety and hygiene standards
