Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients' medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs.

Job Responsibilities:
The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapyCorrect errors on scripts rejected by medical aidThe manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereofDispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicineFurnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicineEvaluation of a patient's medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety and effectiveness of the therapyDetermining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient's medicine-related needs are being metAccurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPCThe compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof

Job Requirements:
Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Registered tutorBPharm / equivalent qualificationSound numerical skillsStrong command of the English language and a second languageProof of COVID-19 Vaccination CertificateExperience in supervising staffComputer literate – MS OfficeUnisolv experienceGrade 12 / MatricJob Details:
