Purpose of the role:
To oversee and coordinate all scheduled maintenance tasks carried out on-site to enhance the performance of manufacturing plants in a secure way according to company guidelines.

Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage equipment maintenance activities to ensure machine availability.
  • Lead daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings.
  • Manage the procurement of maintenance spare parts.
  • Supervise and regulate maintenance inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with maintenance suppliers for repairs and inspections.
  • Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee equipment calibrations and building maintenance planning.
  • Enforce compliance with maintenance quality standards.
  • Assist various departments with administrative tasks.
  • Plan and participate in safety audits.
  • Support procurement in selecting service providers competitively.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow proper waste disposal procedures.
  • Prevent incidents and hazardous conditions.
  • Operate in line with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and enhancements.
Qualifications, Skills and experience:
  • National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Artisan Qualification (Trade:
Mechanical Fitter/Millwright) is a plus
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Access to personal transportation
  • Availability for standby duty
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Perform effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Capable of efficient task completion and understanding
