Overall responsibility of all maintenance activities of the plant, including machinery at the Alrode factory

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ND : Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years' experience within maintenance environment (Electrical & mechanical)
  • 2 years' management experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Professional maintenance Activity, Pillar and Step 0 fundamentals

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Plan and coordinate plant maintenance activity through analysis of failures or breakdown occurring in the plant, ensuring the availability of parts needed during planned maintenance; shutdowns and management of the EWO system.
  • Overall responsibility for all maintenance of all the machinery and equipment of the plant (Electrical and Mechanical)
  • Implement maintenance program to ensure machines are periodically maintained to minimise breakdowns, minimised breakdown time, and ensure safety.
  • Equip, build and manage a highly motivated and professional team that can rise to meet the demands of a fastpaced and challenging business environment
  • Ensure sufficient spare parts are in stock.
  • Conduct Maintenance spares stock take
  • Overall responsibility for all maintenance of the facility, including issues impacting the environment, safety, or facility itself. (Including forklifts)
  • Ensure alignment to various standards, including WCM projects and administrative duties.
  • Perform basic administrative, purchasing, procurement duties as appropriate to ensure effective maintenance function
  • All such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when required.
