A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their two children

Area:
Irene, Gauteng

Children's Ages: 20 months - Boy and newborn (due middle May) - primary care will be for 20-month-old in the beginning newborn phase. If I need to go somewhere the au pair will have the responsibility to look after both of the children.

Working hours:
Mondays to Fridays from 07:30AM - 18:00PM

School holiday hours:
same as above

Live in or Live out:

Live out with the option to live in from Monday to Thursday night (4 nights of the week) if we see that this will work better regarding traveling and the hours required to work.

We will also require the au pair to travel with us if necessary.

Duties:

include (not limited to) feeding meals, changing diapers, sanitizing bottles, cleaning up after the children (toys/after a meal), take care of the nursery organization; ensure the bedding is always clean, ensure that the changing station is stocked with diapers, help with the children's laundry when they are taking a nap.

Basically helping with anything that involves the children. Being creative and doing stimulating activities with them. Also incorporate messy playtime. Also assisting with preparing lunch and dinner when I am spending time with the children.

Special Requirements:
Female, experience with babies and Toddlers, Fluent in Afrikaans and English. Preferably Afrikaans as home language/first language.

Start Date and contract term:
ASAP - 7 month contract.

Salary:
R17500pm + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
