Job DescriptionNumber of positions: 3 The Artisan Diesel Mechanic role will maintain, install and commission the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities of this role are: Attend and conduct Safety meetingConducts and participate in Risk assessmentsAllocate tasks to subordinatesAttend to Breakdowns and emergencies as requiredEnsure that material, spares and equipment are available as requiredEnsure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinatesComply to environmental requirementsExercise judgment with regards to replacement of componentsMaintains a high quality of workTimely and accurate informationRecords results of all legal examinations in the appropriate formatWorks in a sequence that prioritises work requirementsCompleting job cards and description of work and spares used (PM's)Performing work to the required standards and specificationsThis role is in the engineering department at a C2 level reporting to the Coordinator Engineering.

QualificationsGrade 12N2 Engineering studies certificateDiesel Mechanic Technical Trade certificate - (section 13 or 26D)Experience Minimum 3 years underground experience post trade qualificationHardrock mining experience would be advantageousExperience working with GHH 4.

4, LHDs, GHH UVs, Toyota LDVs will be advantageousAdditional Requirements:
