Our client, located in Killarney Gardens, as a vacant position for a REEFER TECHNICIAN

Job Requirements / Personal Specifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Qualified Artisan (Trade tested Refrigeration Technician).
  • Safe gas handling license.
  • Minimum of 6 years in refrigeration repairs.

Job Specifications:

  • Read and understand job cards and requirements.
  • Read, understand and take downloads for TK, Daikin, Carrier and Star Cool.
  • Troubleshoot, leak check and repair all types of Manufactured Reefer Containers.
  • Must be able to copper weld and must also be able to do copper to brass welding.
  • Must be able to do Calibrations on COT units and prep CA units to standard.
  • Must be able to conduct repairs to all refrigeration equipment used on shipping line Manufacture Containers.
  • Must be able to travel to and from work outside of normal working hours.
