We are seeking to hire a professionally competent, incisive, and confident investment analyst/specialist, who has a high attention to detail and is interested in monitoring of client portfolios from both a regulatory and mandate compliance perspective.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

  • A minimum of 5years' experience in investment analysis or portfolio monitoring of institutional investor portfolios.
  • A relevant degree in finance / actuarial field / CFA.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • The successful incumbent's knowledge level should enable execution and management of responsibilities and accountabilities without supervision.
  • Extensive understanding of financial instruments, investment products, asset managers and investment regulation.
  • A very welldeveloped MS Office skills especially in excel. A knowledge of databases will be helpful.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Your key responsibility: Provide monitoring reports to our institutional client base. The monitoring reports will focus on mandate and/or regulatory compliance. The successful applicant will be engaging with various institutional investors and hence needs a good understanding of investment instruments in an institutional investor setting.
  • Interact with all other stakeholders regarding the client's assets, including Administrators, Asset Managers, Actuaries, Consultants and Auditors. Assist auditors, actuaries and administrators with information/documentation required to operate and manage the client's assets.
  • Address and manage all investment related issues & queries (orally and through written reports)
  • Research and investigate all investment related issues concerning the client's portfolio (investment services, cost & fee structures, any other investment related issue requested by the Trustees from time to time)
  • Keep abreast of all current market and economic conditions and with industry related issues and new product developments.
  • Conducting all tasks and responsibilities on a level that is professional and compliant with regulation and IAC best practice.
