Surface Surveyor

RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a Surface Surveyor to join a leading mining company in the North West region.

As a Surface Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements on mining sites to ensure accurate land boundaries and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities:
Perform surveys and measurements on surface areas of mining sites Establish accurate land boundaries and ensure compliance with mining regulations Create and update maps, drawings, and reports of survey results Collaborate with other mining professionals, such as geologists and engineers, to provide accurate survey data Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with environmental standards Requirements Chamber of Mines Advanced Certificate in Surveying or National Diploma in Surveying Minimum 5 years' experience in surface surveying Experience using survey instruments, including GPS and Total Station Experience using CAD/Model Maker/Deswik related software is advantageous Proficient in using surveying equipment and software Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Valid driver's license Familiarity with mining regulations and safety guidelines Benefits
