  • Identify and source reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure costeffectiveness and quality.
  • Analyze market conditions and trends to anticipate supply chain risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for quality and damage.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
  • Issue materials to production teams based on requisitions and production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and stock counts.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage material flow and replenishment.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate material handling equipment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
