We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team

  • Grade 12 with NQF Level 4 and relevant trade test essential (Millwright)
  • Electrical qualifications beneficial
  • 5+ years experience (operational execution) maintenance in FMCG, as well as bottling equipment
  • MS Office and Email literate
  • Previous FMCG / bottling industry experience REQUIRED
  • Shift Management

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Mechanical maintenance such as breakdown repairs, component assessment and replacement, preventative maintenance, cooling system performance log keeping, municipal water supply filtration monitoring, water pumps & valve maintenance, compressed air supply performance monitoring, daily start up and shut down of essential production machinery, size changes on production lines, implementation and oversight of preventative maintenance programme, emergency breakdown repairs, control of maintenance store and company tools
  • Electrical maintenance involving testing/modifying operational electrical machinery/equipment/circuitry, device assembly/testing, diagnosis of malfunctions & failures, development of wiring diagrams, general plant & system maintenance
  • Operational support including problem-solving, guidance/advice to teams, knowledge transfer, planned maintenance
  • Adherence to SHE standards by following SHE policies and procedures, maintaining high hygiene levels, implementing first aid policy, attending training, and enforcing learnings
