Purpose of the Role:

The role of a Full Stack Engineer will form a vital part of a team of Developers who are responsible for creating cutting-edge software that supports critical business processes.

The Full Stack Software Engineer will be familiar with programming techniques and design patterns.

This role requires a candidate who bridges the gap between front-end and back-end development, enabling the development and maintenance of comprehensive, end-to-end web applications.

Duties include, but not limited to: Primary Duties Develop cutting-edge software using the latest development tools and frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to analyze specifications and complete technical documentation.
Unit-test all software artifacts.
Maintain and update current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies.
Collaborate with Product Owners and QA Engineers in developing, testing, and deploying systems components.
Research and develop new technologies.
Provide second/third line support to IT for software deployed into company eco system.
Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLA's are met.
Assist with technical documentation.
Ensure timely delivery of software solutions that meet quality standards.
Support to Team Transfer of business and technical knowledge to the greater team.

Essential Criteria:
3 years'+ experience hands-on development experience.
Experience in working with agile teams and successfully delivering agile based software projects.
Be prepared to work in a 24/7 environment.
Proven experience with Source control concepts (Merging, Branching, Publishing)
Proven experience in internet technology and web development.
Proven experience in coding with an understanding of system architectures and knowledge of SOA.
Knowledge of OO, development methodologies and applying patterns.
Ability to work alongside Architects to integrate and propose viable solutions to business.

Data Stores:
MS SQL Server, MongoDB

Software:
C#,.Net core, Angular, XML, REST, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Stored Procedures, Visual Studio.
Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Organizational Culture.

Desirable Criteria:
Computer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualification.
Working experience with Gitlab

Understanding of the following:
MVC pattern, pub-sub patterns
NoSQL (MongoDB)
Real time evaluations (SignalR/XSockets)
Continuous Integration
Docker, Kubernetes
Design and developing for extensibility and scalability
Angular
React Native
