Senior Account Executive-Banking at SAS

About the job

As a Senior Account Executive-Banking, you will play a crucial role in selling SAS software products, solutions, and services to both current and prospective customers. Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with sales, pre-sales, and domain experts to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within your assigned territory.

You will:

  • Sell software, solutions, and services while collaborating with other teams to acquire, grow, and retain customers.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and determine the level of opportunity and resources needed.
  • Prospect within your territory to uncover business needs and manage accounts effectively.
  • Work closely with pre-sales resources to respond to high-quality opportunities promptly.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and explore additional revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a solid understanding of pricing, licensing procedures, and account planning processes.

  • Experience in working with banks and familiarity with SAS solutions.
  • Strong communication, strategic selling, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead projects, work independently or in a team, and travel frequently.
