As a Senior Product Owner, you'll be responsible for the product vision and strategy of a given portfolio. The Senior Product Owner (PO) is the content authority for the team level of the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe). The Senior PO is responsible for the team backlog, writing, prioritizing and accepting user stories, and representing the customer to the Agile team. They optimize return on investment by ensuring that the Product team members are engaged in delivering the most valuable product features. You will work closely with business owners to understand their needs and requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. You'll also build the roadmap for your portfolio based on customer feedback, user research data and internal metrics (such as analytics).

Requirements

  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the Agile methodology, it's focus on improving business agility, and SCRUM process using events, documentations, and workshops.
  • Demonstrates a passion for continuous learning with a demonstrated willingness to learn about best practices and tricks of the trade.
  • Ensures that the team has a clear understanding of the end user requirements and their respective impact on product requirements.
  • Provides direction and provides guidance when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in a senior product management role with a strong background in project management and communications.
  • Must have demonstrated successful execution of projects with at least two other team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required
  • Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum preferred.
