The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus has Lecturer vacancies in the School of Finance and Accounting

  • Bachelor of Accounting
  • Auditing

Key Performance Areas

  • Lecturing in the form of either facetoface sessions with students and/or online sessions;
  • Invigilation of formative assessment as may be required;
  • Diligent preparation for lectures, including preparation of inclass activities;
  • Marking and providing constructive feedback to students on all assessments;

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant OR;
  • Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) OR;
  • Honours/Postgraduate qualification in External Auditing OR;
  • Alternatively, NQF level 9 Qualification in External Auditing.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

  • Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation is preferable
  • Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants
  • Lecturing experience in a tertiary environment
