PROJECT COORDINATOR GRADUATE




LOCATION:
CAPE TOWN, WESTERN CAPE (12 MONTH CONTRACT)


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion.

You will assist in coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and facilitating effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable project management skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Coordinate and track project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing corrective actions
  • Support effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and projectrelated correspondence
  • Conduct research and gather information to support project planning and decisionmaking processes
  • Contribute to lessons learned and postproject evaluations to identify areas for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline)
  • Strong academic performance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Detailoriented mindset and a commitment to delivering highquality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and selfmotivated attitude
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment
