WAITERS/WAITRESSES NEEDED
Our company Sushi/Noodle Box has 9 restaurants around Cape Town providing fresh, great quality, affordable Sushi to its clientele. We are looking for highly skilled and motivated waiters/waitresses to join our Kloof and Constantia team.

The values, skills, roles, and responsibilities of the waiters/waitresses will include but are not limited to the following:
Providing excellent Sushibox service to ensure overall customer satisfaction by: o Meeting, greeting & seating all walk-in customers. o Introductions & interactions with all sit-down & takeaway customers. o Taking, writing down & entering customer orders the correct
Sushibox way o Serving food & drinks the correct Sushibox way. o Practicing good wine presentations & amp; wine serving etiquette the correct Sushibox way. o Following up on all guests to ensure they are satisfied and feel looked after. o Assisting customers with payments the correct Sushibox way. o Making sure each sit-down & amp; takeaway guest is thanked and greeted after service.

Carry out day-to-day opening and closing duties as instructed by supervisor/company: o Portioning wine into carafes using a 1g scale.

o Folding serviettes o Portioning Lemonade & Lemon iced tea as per the standard
Sushibox recipe. o Restocking drinks, alcohol fridges, and practicing good FIFO.

Operating the POS, card payment machines & online ordering tablets correctly.

Have excellent knowledge of the different Sushibox menus. o Sit down menu. o Secret menu o Wine menu o Vegan menu

Have a basic understanding of different food allergies found on the

Sushibox menu:
o Gluten intolerant

• Shellfish allergy o Soy allergy o Nut allergy

Making menu recommendations, answering questions, and sharing additional information with restaurant guests by: o Recommending & amp; upselling off-menu items.

o Suggesting menu items that are good for the company COGS & will enhance customer experience. o Be brand aware and know where all our restaurants are located. o Follow the Sushibox standard suggestive selling terminology. o Answer and communicate effectively over the telephone with customers.

Practice good body language and posture throughout shifts. o Always smile even when no one is looking. o Never lean against the walls while waiting for customers. o Never stand with arms crossed during service.

Keeping and maintaining a consistent, well-organized FOH area & amp; atmosphere to ensure a memorable customer experience by: o Following the standard Sushibox FOH area look and feel set up guide.

o Maintain a hygienic working environment by hygiene regulations and company standards using the correct chemicals for each job. o Ensuring all plants are cared for and looked after as per the
Sushibox plant care guide. o Follow the standard sweeping & amp; mopping procedure when cleaning the FOH floors. o Ensuring the correct music is being always played at the correct volumes.

MAKING SURE THE SPEAKER IS IN A WELL-LOOKED

• AFTER CONDITION AT ALL TIMES.

NO NON SUSHIBOX MUSIC IS BEING PLAYED.
NO ADS ARE PLAYING IN BETWEEN SONGS.
NO INTERRUPTIONS DUE TO A FAULTY SPEAKER.

Show excellent presentation & amp; personal hygiene by: o Following the standard Sushibox dress code. o Following the standard Sushibox hygiene code

Be fully always equipped with a complete waiter tool kit.
Follow the Standard dirty plates & amp; glasses drop-off procedure during the shift.
Practice the Sushibox standard stock-take process when counting stock.
Practice the following skills on a day-to-day basis: o Efficient o Knowledgeable

Must be able to adapt to change if new systems are put in place in your section.

Be able to work in a lively, fast-paced environment, someone who lives his hobby and is passionate about serving customers.

Salary:
R4, R5,000.00 per month
