To ensure an effective commission calculation, payment and reconciliation as per the approved Sales Commission Policy, including reporting on the sales performance, analysis of the data inputs, analysis of commissions as a cost and sales behavioural driver.

This role will be dedicated to the Regions.

Commission Analysis

  • Ensure that the sales commission calculation is accurate and complete, and payment requirements are sent to payroll timeously with all required approvals
  • Assess effectiveness of sales compensation plan incentives by analysing plan results, such as earnings vs. target plans, quota attainment distribution, pay to performance relationships, etc.
  • Perform other ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
  • Commission reconciliations
  • Track bonus programs
  • Track Incentive schemes and promotional programmes
  • Assist in integrating the commission system
  • Assisting with the output schedules of the Quarterly reforecast process
  • Assist in writing and distributing quarterly incentive programs
  • Model compensation incentives and earnings scenarios for the Enterprise Businessunit based on strategic business objectives and the financial forecast.
  • Robust analytic drillthrough: Explore the trends, correlations, and root causes behind performance with predefined and ad hoc query and reporting against data aggregated from multiple sources.
  • Compile and submit all relevant commission schedules for sign off to relevant managers and submit to Finance for processing
  • Drive best practice, continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level and ensure innovation to improve best practice
  • Ensure compliance of strategy to Branded Retail Channel and escalate noncompliance

Relationship building and maintenance

  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Follow up on and respond to all queries
  • Maintain good communication and relationships with Branded Retail Channel
  • Ensure customer centric service and delivery to the assigned areas based on requests (including non BAU activity) and work delivered based on BF value proposition

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure execution of and compliance to business rules
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures implemented are aligned to the business performance framework
  • Work consistently according to standard operating procedures
  • Understand the quality standards of the job and the reason for these standards, and communicate these reasons to others
  • Understand and communicate the consequences of not maintaining quality focus
  • Identify processes and procedures where the quality of work may be improved
  • Analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure quality is maintained
  • Work towards improving audit report rating by implementing adequate controls to mitigate risks

Customer Satisfaction

  • Adopt a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising in the future.
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders, building relationships to ensure that all queries are responded to quickly and effectively.
  • Educate stakeholders and internal customers on the role of owned stores and how they may contribute and add value.
  • Ensure delivery on customer specific strategies.
  • Identify trends / patterns pertaining to customer needs and filter this information through the correct channels.
  • Initiate change to continually improve all aspects of service delivery and drive continuous improvement as an important element of service delivery.
  • Manage, monitor and control customerrelated system efficiencies, and the measurement thereof.
  • Understand customer needs and develop and finetune systems accordingly, ensuring that effective PPP's are in place and valid.
