Qualification:

  • Must have an Electrical Engineering qualification or be a Registered Electrician
  • Preferably hold a Wireman's license, covering both single & 3 phase

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in managing Construction of electrical infrastructure
  • 2-3 Years experience in Utility-Scale Solar PV or Wind Projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge in construction management, team leadership, programming, and planning
  • Familiarity with construction management tools including MS Project, MS Office, etc., and construction regulations
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License and own transport

Duties:

  • Collaborate with Quality Officers to develop method statements
  • Manage local labor and specialized Subcontractors
  • Supervise suppliers for quality, quantity, and timely deliveries
  • Oversee quality plans, systems, and inspections with supporting staff
  • Ensure implementation of company systems and processes through strong administrative skills
  • Prepare weekly production forecasts and plans
  • Review Standards, Drawings, and Quality control metrics
  • Handle construction risk management and mitigation
  • Coordinate with civil and mechanical installation teams
  • Conduct works inspection with client representatives
  • Ensure compliance with all SHEQ regulations, and safety protocols
  • Implement and oversee lock-out and tag-out systems during energization
  • Lead and support teamwork for efficiency, profitability, and meeting deadlines
